A Course In Miracles
Resume
-
Carol is in her
28th year as student and teacher of A Course In Miracles and is
considered by many to be one of the most knowledgeable and
experienced presenters of the material to date. Her gift is to
simplify spiritual principles so that they can be embraced and
easily applied to all aspects of daily life.
-
Dr. William
Thetford, one of the two professors through whom the Course was
given, was both friend and mentor and encouraged her outreach in
ways which now include workshops, lectures, writing, and private
consultations.
-
Carol worked
extensively on various projects with Dr. Jerry Jampolsky,
world-renowned author and founder of the Center for Attitudinal
Healing in Sausalito, CA, and helped to found and direct similar
attitudinal healing centers in Denver, CO and Winter Park, FL as
well as to advise others. The multiple services offered by these
organizations were based on principles from the Course.
-
In addition to
lecturing with Drs. Thetford and Jampolsky, she has shared the
podium on numerous occasions with other Course presenters and
teachers across the country.
-
Carol has
presented Course material at colleges, universities, churches,
commercial venues and retreat centers, both nationally and in
Russia and Ukraine. The principles have been adapted for
presentation to the general public as well as for business
executives, physicians, psychologists, and other professional
groups in a variety of formats including radio and television.
-
In response to
specific requests, Carol has authored Healing the Hurt Behind
Addictions and Compulsive Behaviors, (English and Russian)
Homeward To An Open Door: Exploring Major Principles of A Course
In Miracles, and “Emergency Procedures for Regaining Peace of
Mind.” (English and Spanish) She has also created a
professionally produced videotape set and numerous audiotape
sets. All her work is based on principles from the Course even
though the language may be adapted for use with a particular
audience.
-
Carol has
developed a series of five highly imaginative, three-dimensional
structural teaching models, made of a wide variety of building
and craft materials, which symbolize the workings of the mind,
the self-sabotaging choices we have made, and how to change
them. These visual aids are copyrighted and are the cornerstones of
a comprehensive curriculum for healing.
